John Barrowman, star of British import "Torchwood," will have a guest-starring arc on ABC's "Desperate Housewives."
An ABC rep confirmed the casting, saying Barrowman would be part of the show's mystery storyline.
"Housewives" creator Marc Cherry has made no secret of the fact that he's a fan of Barrowman and of "Torchwood."
The actor's arc will span five episodes starting in early April, according to published reports.
Barrowman previously was mentioned as being interested in starring in Fox's remake of the hit sci-fi series "Torchwood."
