How sure is NBC of "The Voice"? Sure enough to give it the coveted spot right after next year's Super Bowl.

The show, which has had the strongest debut of the 2010-11 season, will get the hour networks often use to launch new shows. NBC plans to use the spot to add to the hype surrounding the singing competition, which will be paired with the musical drama "Smash" in midseason on Monday nights.

"The Voice" will air after the game Feb. 5.

"There is no better showcase on television than to follow the Super Bowl, and we believe 'The Voice' is deserving of such high-profile exposure," said NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt. "The attention-grabbing blind audition phase of 'The Voice' has mass appeal and will fittingly team up with the biggest sporting event of the year."
