Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of deceased singer Whitney Houston, has landed a recurring role on “For Better or Worse”
Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is following in her mother's footsteps and going into show business.
Brown, the 19-year-old daughter of Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown, has been cast in a recurring role on Tyler Perry's TBS sitcom "For Better or Worse," a spokesman for Perry told TheWrap.
The nature of her character has not yet been revealed. The series will premiere its second season in July.
Brown's mother died on Feb. 11 at the age of 48.
Perry, who reportedly made his private jet available to Houston's family to transport the singer's body from Southern California to her hometown of Newark, N.J., delivered an impassioned speech at Houston's funeral.
"There was a grace that kept on carrying her," Perry said. "Whitney Houston loved the lord, and in every conversation we had over the years it was evident that she loved the lord … nothing separated her from the love of God."
