Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. channel announced four new projects during its presentation at TCA on Friday, including "Lounge," produced by Whoopi Goldberg.
"Lounge" is a talk/variety series between real, everyday moms who are given an opportunity to be pampered, celebrated and have their dreams come true, the network said. It will be produced through Goldberg's WHOOP Inc.
Other new projects for NickMom — a block of TV for moms that airs nightly from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Nick Jr. — include:
– "Country Mom, City Mom," a docu-comedy following Tanya McQueen of "Picker Sisters" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition";
– "Undercover Cupid," a hidden-camera show following single parents whose teen kids pick dates for them;
– And an unititled Vinnie Brand project, executive-produced by Brand and Jim Breuer, that will follow the comedian (Brand) and father of five daughters.
Nick Jr. also announced a second season of docu-comedy series, "Take Me To Your Mother."
