Sean Hayes will play a comedic TV and film actor making his Broadway debut
Looks like there's a partial "Will & Grace" reunion in the works.
Sean Hayes, who played Jack McFarland on the NBC sitcom of yore, has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the same network's "Smash" — which co-stars his former "Will & Grace" cohort Debra Messing.

Hayes will play Terrance Falls, a TV and film funny-man who's making his Broadway debut in the musical "Liaisons" and ends up being an annoyance to Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters.
Hayes, who played Larry Fine in the Farrelly brothers' recent big-screen effort "The Three Stooges," has also booked a multi-episode arc on NBC's "Up All Night," playing the former accompanist of talk-show host Ava (portrayed to Maya Rudolph).
"Smash," which saw the departure of series creator Theresa Rebeck as well as several cast members following its first season, will air as a mid-season replacement for its second season.
Also guest-starring on the upcoming second season: "Dreamgirls" star Jennifer Hudson, who will play Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star who affects the lives of Karen (played by Katharine McPhee) and Ivy.
