ABC's hot fall continues, with word that the network has picked up a full season of first-year drama "FlashForward." The news comes after last week's nine-episode pickups for freshmen comedies "The Middle," "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town." "FF" has boosted ABC's 8 p.m. Thursday timeslot average by 32 percent. And it's doing well with DVR viewers, adding 2 million viewers during its first week on the air. Overall, "FF" is the No. 1 new drama this season among adults 18-34.

UPDATE 6:45 CDT: ABC says it's ordered 12 extra episodes of "Flash Forward" as opposed to the usual back nine. That means, barring any decision to cut back later, 25 episodes of the series will be produced this season.
