The Pittsburgh Steelers' win over the New York Jets Sunday earned the highest ratings in 24 years for the AFC Championship Game, according to early numbers.

The Steelers 24-19 win earned CBS Sports an average overnight household rating/share of 31.3/46. It was the highest rating in metered markets for the AFC Championship Game since the 31.9 for the Denver Broncos win over the Cleveland Browns meeting of 1987.

The ratings may bode well for the Steelers' matchup with the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 6 -- which calls for celebratory dry humps all around.
