Alec Baldwin made himself ripe for parody this week, after teasing that he may run for New York City mayor in 2013 (in the wake of the stunning Anthony Weiner scandal) and posting a controversial essay on Huffington Post entitled "Anthony Weiner Is a Modern Human Being."

So it wasn't terribly surprising to be sent the inevitable Baldwin-runs-for-mayor video from jokey Taiwanese studio Next Media Animation. The silly short speculates on how things might go down if Baldwin quits "30 Rock" to run for the 2013 election against Michael Bloomberg.
Next Media sums up the video's plot quite nicely in its press release: "Alec Baldwin has revealed he is considering a run for New York City mayor now that Anthony Weiner’s chances have been dashed. Baldwin will be free to run in the 2013 race. He plans to quit '30 Rock' next year, leaving the show’s future uncertain. A Hollywood liberal, Baldwin would have no problem finding a base in New York. But is Baldwin tough enough to challenge Mayor Bloomberg? If the voice-mail messages he leaves his daughter are any indication, he definitely is."
