Something new is brewing at CNN, according to the catchy promo for "New Day," which is heavy on caffeine and Alicia Keys, but light on content.
The commercial weaves the beats of Keys' song "New Day" with the always-unpleasant sound of an alarm clock beeping over morning imagery of eggs, toast and coffee.

But will CNN's "New Day" provide a much-needed jolt of energy to the cable news network now under the leadership of former "Today Show" producer Jeff Zucker? Viewers will find out on June 17 when the morning news program debuts at 6 a.m. ET.
