AMC’s ‘The Killing’ Gets Long-Awaited Premiere Date
Series will debut April 3
AMC's long-awaited murder mystery "The Killing" will get a two-hour premiere on April 3, the network announced Thursday.
"The Killing," which the network hopes will maintain its strong batting average of critical hits and ratings success, will air on the date, a Sunday, at 9 p.m.

That's an hour earlier than the network's traditional 10 p.m. airtime for its shows. Episodes after the premiere will air in the 10 o'clock slot.
Based on the Danish television series “Forbrydelsen,” the show follows three stories tied to a single murder. The show, shot on location in Vancouver, it stars Mireille Enos (“Big Love”); Billy Campbell (“Once and Again”), Joel Kinnaman ("Snabba Cash"), Michelle Forbes (“True Blood”), and Brent Sexton ("W.").
It is produced by Fox Television Studios and executive produced by Mikkel Bondesen (“Burn Notice”) for Fuse Entertainment.
