Get ready for a “Friends” reunion.
Jennifer Aniston is set to guest star alongside Courteney Cox on the season two premiere of ABC’s “Cougar Town” on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
Aniston follows in the footsteps of her other “Friends” co-star Lisa Kudrow, who played a nasty dermatologist who dated Cox’s character’s ex-husband in a guest appearance last season.
Aniston and Cox have re-teamed once before after “Friends" went off the air in 2004. Aniston also appeared in an episode of Cox’s gossip magazine drama “Dirt” in 2007.
The network’s official announcement had few details about what the Monica and Rachel re-teaming would entail, but executive producer Bill Lawrence tells Entertainment Weekly that Aniston will play Cox’s shrink.
