Finally, we know when Bruce Campbell will face his next army of darkness: "Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe" will air April 17, USA announced.

As previously reported, the film, which was shot on location in Bogota, Colombia, features the "Evil Dead" icon in his recurring "Burn Notice" character of Lieutenant Commander Sam Axe, who's sent to advise a military platoon, only to discover that he may be aligned with the wrong side after sniffing out deep levels of deception within his new charges.

No word on whether the plot will ultimately involve shotguns, zombies, and the vanquishing of zombies with shotguns.

The film was directed by "Burn Notice" star Jeffrey Donovan, who serves as co-executive producer with Campbell on the project.
