"Burn Notice" may have returned for season five Thursday night, but USA Network knows that its fans are an insatiable lot where Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is concerned.

That's why they've put together "A New Day," an interactive graphic novel produced in tandem with DC Comics, a 12-issue downloadable comic book intended to bridge the action between seasons four and five.

In the first chapter of "A New Day," spy-turned-mercenary Westen heads to Washington, D.C., to meet up with CIA chief Raines (Dylan Baker), the shady figure who initially recruited the Miami native to the organization and who is helping smooth over the blacklisted spy's return.

The other installments of the graphic novel will roll out every Thursday this summer and all the "Burn Notice" characters will be involved. Chapter 2, entitled "Bactrack," debuts June 30.
