CBS Los Angeles says a reporter who began speaking incoherently during a live report after Sunday's Grammy telecast is "feeling fine" and did not need to be hospitalized.

Serene Branson looked normal throughout the broadcast, but her words came out in a jumble, leading to widespread speculation that she had suffered a stroke.

"Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning," CBS said.

The network did not say what caused her to speak gibberish. CBS did not immediately return a call for comment Monday.

Before the realization that she may have suffered a serious problem, the intro became an Internet meme among people who assumed it was a simple flub.
