Chord Overstreet, who appears in the web series "Private" and has appeared in the Nickelodeon series "iCarly," will have a recurring role in the second season of Fox's "Glee."
Overstreet makes his debut in the Sept. 21 season-premiere episode of the hit series. He'll play Sam, a high school athlete who starts off as quarterback Finn's protege but eventually becomes his competition.
Overstreet joins previously announced new cast members Charice, who plays an exchange student and rival to one of the glee club's stars, and John Stamos, who will play a dentist and love interest of Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays).
