Showtime's serial killer drama "Dexter" returns Sept. 26.
Season four ended on a high note with a surprise ending that left the vigilante murderer and forensic investigator Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C. Hall) shattered-- and perhaps seeking revenge.
The season's storyline, which featured Dexter playing a twisted cat-and-mouse game with John Lithgow's eerie "Trinity Killer," was a hit with both fans and critics earning record ratings and a supporting actor Emmy for Lithgow.
"Dexter's" fifth season will feature guest appearances from Julia Stiles and Jonny Lee Miller.
