When we first left our knife-wielding anti-hero, he was caught in a moment of discovery, with his adoptive sister Debra finding out that he isn't the mild-mannered blood-pattern analyst that she thought.
And now, a new trailer for the upcoming season hints that it's time to face facts, for good or ill.
"They say truth brings light, it's the lies that live in darkness. But here we are in the moment of truth," Michael C. Hall — in character as Dexter Morgan — intones in the trailer. "Everything in my life has brought me to this point. It's what I am; it's all I am. I can accept that. But can she?"
Will honesty be the best policy in this case? We'll have to wait a few months to find out. Until then, take a blood-curdling glimpse into what's in store for "Dexter."
