The cable network ordered a pilot for a reality show with aspiring D.C. power players from the star's production company
Rob Lowe has had a thing for poltiics throughout his TV career, from "West Wing" to "Brothers & Sisters." He's even a government efficiency expert in his current sitcom "Parks & Rec."
Now the star is headed to the Beltway yet again for a new E! reality pilot.
"Potomac Fever" will follow up-and-coming D.C. power players as they navigate the nation's capital.
Lowe's production company, Loweprofile, is producing the pilot for E! along with 44 Blue. An individual at the network confirmed that E! ordered the pilot and said the show's producers are currently in D.C. working on the "early stages of production and development."
E!'s "Potomac Fever" pickup was first reported by Variety's Michael Schneider.
