Approximately 13 million viewers tuned in for NBC's telecast of the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night.

Aside from sports, the Emmys were the top-rated show in the key adults 18-49 demographic on any network since the season one finale of "Glee" June 8.

The awards telecast nearly wrapped up on time, running from 8-11:01p.m. NBC averaged a 4.1 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic and 13.5 million viewers. overall with the ceremony. The numbers were in line with last year's Emmy broadcast which brought in a 4.2 rating an 13.47 million viewers.

Though the difference between the ratings for Sunday's telecast and last year's show was slight, the 2010 Emmy Awards was the highest-rated broadcast of the ceremony since 2006.
