A day after Jay Leno downplayed the impact of musical acts to his new series, NBC has announced a superstar trio of musicians will appear on Leno's first show.
Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West will perform their new single "We Run This Town" on the Sept. 14 bow of "The Jay Leno Show." The song is from Jay-Z's new "The Blueprint 3."
Leno said his new show would seek to bring together unique pairings of musical artists, not unlike the Grammy Awards.
