There's peace on the "Jersey Shore," and all it took was to triple the castmembers' salaries.

Snooki and the rest of the cast of tanned "guidos" are back on the hit MTV show now that contract talks made it past an impasse that threatened to halt filming on season three.

This weekend, tensions were running high between MTV and the show's stars over their pay for the upcoming third season. On Tuesday, MTV announced that it had reached an agreement with seven of the eight "Jersey Shore" stars.

Angelina "Jolie" Pivarnick was the only cast member who didn't sign up to stick with the show. Pivarnick left "Jersey Shore" partway through its first season, but she rejoined the cast for season two which was filmed in April and May. Season two of "Jersey Shore" premieres July 29.

When asked how much money "Jersey Shore's" stars will make per episode with the new contracts, an MTV spokesperson told TheWrap "we would never comment on salary negotiations." Though the network declined to comment on the specifics of the deal, there are widespread reports that the "Jersey Shore" cast will be making about $30,000 an episode for season three, a 300 percent increase from their current rate.
