Never has so much good come from losing a push-up contest.

On Wednesday's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart agreed to compete with his guest, author Paula Broadwell, whose book "All In" profiles Gen. David Petraeus. For every push-up the winner did after the loser maxed out, the loser agreed to donate $1,000 to Team Red, White & Blue, a charity for wounded veterans.

Stewart agreed to compete on the condition that Broadwell's husband, Scott, joined in. Things didn't go so well for the men. But they did go well for wounded vets.
