Stewart can't cover the current state of the union, so he talks about it under Bush-Cheney
Jon Stewart apparently doesn't care for former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Stewart couldn't weigh in on the State of the Union on Tuesday's "Daily Show" because he taped the episode before it took place. So he covered the former state of the union.
Cheney talked with "CBS This Morning" before the speech, saying the Obama administration's policies were hurting America.
Stewart minced no words in his response.
"Cheney's really confident in his opinions and analysis, I guess probably forgetting that he sucked at this," Stewart said. "Even if Obama wanted to take our standing in the world down a peg, he couldn't, because the Bush-Cheney administration left him with no peg room."
