The Disney Channel series "Jonas L.A." is over after two seasons, TheWrap has confirmed.
Rumors that the show was on the chopping block first surfaced early Monday after director Paul Hoen tweeted: “Sadly no more Jonas LA."
However, Disney disputes rumors that the series was axed. It says that had alwasy been slated to go off the air after the latest season wrapped.

The Jonas Brothers are wrapping up their series at a critical juncture for the cable channel. Disney is seeing venerable cash cows such as Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron are leaving the channel to take on more adult roles.
The channel is betting that new shows such as "Good Luck Charlie" and "Shake It Up!" will be able to replace the outgoing "Hannah Montana" and the aging "Suite Life on Deck."
"We’ve been fortunate to work with the enormously talented Jonas Brothers on several projects," a Disney Channel spokesperson told TheWrap. "The series has concluded as scheduled after two very successful seasons, and all original episodes of its second season have aired... We look forward to working with them on new projects in the future."
But the trio of tween icons will continue to work with Disney. Their next album will be released by the studio's label Hollywood Records.
The 13 "Jonas L.A." episodes have delivered on average 3.7 million total viewers, but many analysts griped that given the brothers' name recognition and recording success, ratings were surprisingly soft.
