Jonny Lee Miller will be doing a six-episode guest arc on Showtime's serial killer series "Dexter," an individual with knowledge of the production told TheWrap.
The network will formally announce Miller's casting on Friday morning.
Miller starred as the title character on ABC's legal dramedy "Eli Stone" from 2008-09, but he is perhaps best known for his brief marriage to Angelina Jolie. Miller and Jolie were wed at a 1996 ceremony where Jolie wrote Miller's name in blood on her clothing. They separated in 1999.
To avoid spoilers, insiders aren't saying much about Miller's role except that he'll be playing a character who is "intricately involved" in a storyline with actress Julia Stiles, who is doing a 10-episode "Dexter" stint.
