Kathy Griffin Asked Michele Bachmann How She Became a Bigot (Video)

On “Conan,” the comedian recounts a chance meeting with the Republican presidential hopeful

"Life on the D-List" star Kathy Griffin turned up on "Conan" Monday night and recounted a meeting she had a year ago with Michele Bachmann on an elevator in Washington, D.C., during which she asked the Minnesota congresswoman about how she became so bigoted.

Calling Bachmann "cuckoo" and "a comedian's dream," Griffin said she had gone to Capitol Hill to research an episode for the sixth season of her now-canceled Bravo show and wound up in the confined space with the politician.

Griffin says that she used the opportunity to ask her elevator mate a burning question. "Congressman Bachmann, were you born a bigot, or did you grow into it?" said Griffin.

Bachmann's Palin-like response, per Griffin: "That's a good question — I'm gonna hafta get back to ya!"

go ahead and present the evidence that what she said didn't happen.  she was right that Bachmann is a bigot; that's what's actually important and well demonstrated.

Kathy Griffin is a complete phony who verbally assaulted, harassed and stalked American Idol Clay Aiken for years about being gay before he came out to the public and it became fashionable to promote “no hate”. She is the ultimate bully and should be the poster child for the No Hate campaign's enemy list.
