Apostle has signed a two-year deal with Fox TV Studios to develop shows for cable.

The New York-based production company, co-owned by Denis Leary and Jim Serpico, also confirmed to TheWrap that it's negotiating with CBS TV Studios to develop programming for broadcast.

Apostle's TV production side most recently was based at Sony TV, where it co-produces Leary's hit FX series "Rescue Me."

As first reported by Deadline, with Sony not renewing its current deal with Apostle, the production company made a decision to place its broadcast and cable development at different studios.
