Lifetime has developed a full-blown case of royal-wedding fever.

The channel announced on Wednesday that it will air an original movie, "William & Kate," based on the romance between England's Prince William and his bride-to-be, Kate Middleton. And if that isn't enough, Lifetime will launch a six-part documentary series about the wedding immediately after the movie's debut.

"William & Kate" will feature "NCIS: Los Angeles" actor Nico-Evers Swindell as the titular prince and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations" actress Camilla Luddington as Middleton. The movie will air on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

"Royal Wedding of a Lifetime," meanwhile, will consist of six one-hour episodes that chronicle the run-up to the couple's highly anticipated nuptials. It will also delve into "the wedding gown and fashion surrounding the nuptials, cuisine for the high-profile event, a preview of the wedding day and a glimpse into their future together," according to a statement released by Lifetime. The first installment will air at 11 p.m. ET/PT on April 18. Following that, the series will be shown from 8:00 to 11:00 PM ET/PT on Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22.

William and Middleton's actual wedding is scheduled to take place on April 29 at Westminster Abbey.
