Attention, children of the 80s who remember Max Headroom: He's finally coming to DVD.

The iconic character, played briefly but brilliantly by Matt Frewer, was the star of a short-lived, eponoymous ABC series that aired from 1987 until 1988. A sci-fi drama, "Max Headroom" revolved around an investigative reporter who downloaded his brain to a computer so he could continue to live on after death.

All fourteen episodes will be released on DVD this summer by Shout! Factory, which announced a distribution deal with Warner Home Video Monday. The complete series set is slated for an August bow, according to the website Home Media Magazine.
