An act of heroism gets the musical accompaniment it deserves
Well, that didn't take long.
Charles Ramsey — the Cleveland man who helped free missing women Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight and Georgina "Gina" DeJesus from his neighbor's house on Monday — not only performed an act of heroism, but captivated the nation's imagination with the spirited account of the rescue that he gave to local news station.
And now he's receiving the most modern of hero's honors — an autotuned remix of his recounting of the rescue.
According to Ramsey, he was just minding his own business and enjoying some fare from McDonald's, when he noticed Berry "going nuts" while attempting to escape from the house. He and another man broke down the door of the house and freed Berry … and an internet star was born.
But it's far more entertaining to hear Ramsey recall the story while backed by a smooth beat that you can really dance to. So go ahead and click below.
