NYTVF Announces Development Partners

The eighth annual New York Television Festival announced nine networks or studios Friday that have committed to development deals with promising entrants.

New development partners VH1, Hasbro Studios, BIO Channel, Logo, and Channel 4 have signed on to the festival, which seeks to unite independent TV producers with studios and networks to develop their shows. They join IFC, MTV, Sundance Channel and SevenOne international, all of which have participated in the festival previously.

The festival, which will be held Oct. 22-27, previously announced the involvement of Comedy Central, Warner Bros. International Television Production, and Fox Television Studios, which is working with Apostle.

Hasbro studios is the first participant in the children's entertainment category.
