The last time Pee-wee Herman visited the Alamo, he was on a desperate hunt for his beloved red bicycle. But on Wednesday's "Top Chef: Texas," he returned on the hunt for some pancakes.
"Top Chef" guest judge Herman inspired the episode's Quickfire Challenge, riding into the kitchen on his bicycle to ask them to whip up some creative, "happy, funny" pancakes in 20 minutes.
"I love pancakes … I mean, I'm not gonna marry one, but I love them anyway," said Herman, who last year voiced his desire to be on another reality series, "Dancing With the Stars."

Chef Edward Lee was the winner of the pancake challenge with his Crispy Pancake Tidbits with Brulee'd Marshmallows, Strawberries, Blueberries and Bacon (pictured above).
