Piers Morgan's ratings continued to fall in his third night, as his interview with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Wednesday failed to pull the same numbers as his Tuesday talk with Howard Stern.
"Piers Morgan Tonight" fell 19 percent to 1,028,000 total viewers, (239,000 in the desired 25-54 demo), behind MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, who had 1,094,000 total viewers (and 221,000 in the demo), and Fox's Sean Hannity, who had 1,974,000 total viewers (565,000 in the demo.)
Larry King's CNN replacement pulled the rare and impressive feat of beating Hannity in the demo Tuesday -- with an assist from Stern. But he couldn't do it twice.
Maddow and Hannity also dropped from Tuesday to Wednesday, but not as dramatically as Morgan. Maddow was down 3 percent in total viewers, and Hannity was down 10 percent.
The 19 percent drop was less steep than Morgan's 38 percent drop from his first night to his second, suggesting he may be closer to finding his ratings bottom.
