Nearly 10 million people tuned in last week for LeBron James' "The Decision," making it the third most-watched program on cable TV this year.

Thursday night's broadcast on ESPN was watched by 9.95 million people, according to Nielsen. James announced more than halfway through the hourlong program that he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers and signing with the Miami Heat.

"The Decision" ranks behind the NFL Pro Bowl, watched by 12.3 million; and 11.2 million viewers for a January episode of "ICarly" on Nickelodeon.
