NBC won Tuesday night thanks to the "America's Got Talent" final four and the season two premiere of "Parenthood."

Overall, NBC averaged a 2.8 rating/8 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic. ABC landed in the number two spot with a 2.3/7.

"America's Got Talent" was the top show of the night with a 3.8/11 from 9-10 p.m. The episode, which featured performances from the top four finalists -- kiddie opera phenom Jackie Evancho, drag singer Prince Poppycock, crooner Michael Grimm and the performance troupe Fighting Gravity, scored the show's highest 18-49 rating since Aug. 2007.

"Parenthood" posted a 2.7/8 from 10-11 p.m., down 13 percent from last season's premiere, which aired following a major promo push during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Though "Parenthood" didn't match its series debut, Tuesday night's episode won its time slot and ranked as the show's third highest-rated telecast in the key demo.
