Ratings: CBS Dominates with NFL

More than 41 million tune in for AFC championship game

CBS blew away the competition Sunday with the AFC Championship game.

Getty ImagesCBS averaged a whopping 11.9 rating/29 share in the key 18-49 demographic and 34.5 million total viewers. The AFC Championship game, which will send the Baltimore Ravens to the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, scored a 14.6/34 and 41.5 million viewers from 7 to 10 p.m. At 10, the NFL postgame show scored a 5.4/13 and 16.6 million. At 10:30, "Hawaii 5-0," airing outside its normal timeslot, scored a 2.7/7 and 10.6 million.

ABC was a distant second in ratings and total viewers with a 1.7/4 and 5.9 million. At 7, "America's Funniest Home Videos" had a 1.3/3 and 6.3 million total viewers. At 8, "Once Upon a Time" had a 2.4/6 and 7.7 million. At 9, "Revenge" had a 1.7/4 and 5.7 million. At 10, "Shark Tank" had a 1.3/3 and 4 million.

Fox, which ran all repeats, was third in ratings and total viewers with a 1.6/4 and 3.3 million.

Univision was fourth in ratings and fifth in total viewers with a .9/2 and 2.3 million.

NBC, also airing repeats, was fifth in ratings and fourth in total viewers with a .8/2 and 2.4 million.
