ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" managed to hold onto its debut audience with a bit of cooperation from the White House.
The two-hour "Dancing" at 8 p.m. drew a 5.1 rating/13 share in the adults 18-49 demographic and 22.3 million total viewers to hold the number-one position, according to preliminary numbers.
"Castle" at 10 also held its audience from last week with a 3.3/8 in the demo, and a slight uptick in total viewers to 12.8 million. The two episodes accounted for the top two ratings slots of the evening.
CBS managed to grab the third-highest rating of the night in the demo with a repeat of "Two and a Half Men" at 9, which scored a 2.3/6 and 7.8 million total viewers. At 8, a "How I Met your Mother" rerun drew a 1.9/8 in the demo and 5.8 million total viewers. A new episode of "Mad Love" at 8:30 garnered a 2.1/8 share in the demo, down 13 percent from last week's 2.3/7, and grabbed 5.8 million total viewers. A "Mike & Molly" repeat at 9:30 drew a 1.9/5 in the demo, while a "Hawaii Five-0" had a 1.5/4 in the demo and 5.8 million total viewers.
On Fox, a "House" repeat at 8 grabbed a 1.5/4 in the demo and 4.8 million total viewers, while a "The Chicago Code" rerun at 9 pulled a 1.1/3 in the demo, with 3.9 million total viewers.
The special presentation "All Together Now: A Celebration of Service" on NBC at 8 had a 0.9/3 in the demo with 4.2 million total viewers, while "The Event" at 9 had a 1.2/3 in the demo and "Harry's Law" the following hour had a 1.6/4. Both were flat since last week.
