"Betty White's Off Their Rockers" reruns give NBC a win in key demo
On a Tuesday New Year's night when networks mostly ran repeats, NBC took first place with two hours of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" reruns, according to preliminary numbers.
NBC took first place in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic with a 1.6 rating/4 share and second in total viewers with 5.3 million. Following repeats of the geriatric prank show "Off Their Rockers" from 8 to 10 p.m., "Parenthood" at 10 drew a 1.7/4 — down 15 percent from its last original airing three weeks ago — and 5.2 million total viewers.
Univision grabbed second place in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.5/4 and 3.5 million.
CBS, which aired only repeats, drew third place in ratings and first in total viewers with a 1.2/3 and 8.6 million.
ABC, which also took a pass on originals, came in fourth in ratings and total viewers with a 0.9/2 and 3 million.
Fox took fifth place in ratings and total viewers with a 0.7/2 and 1.6 million, also airing repeats throughout the night.
