Shevick*Zupon Entertainment, a new reality TV production company and licensing firm, announced that it was open for business on Monday.

The company already has the series “Hunting Hollywood” lined up with Syfy and another show, “Pass the Joke,” in development at GSN.

Shevick*Zupon Entertainment is headed by Jerry Shevick, a TV veteran who spent 20 years as executive VP of documentary and reality programming at Hearst Entertainment, and Mark Zupon, an entrepreneur who has worked primarily in the manufacturing sector.

The newly formed production company will be based in Santa Monica.

In a statement announcing its launch, the company said it will differentiate itself from other production houses by also specializing in licensing and brand development for its original content.

“Hunting Hollywood” focuses on pop-culture auctioneer Joe Maddalena and his search for film memorabilia. “Pass the Joke” is based on a never-before-seen 1972 format that originally featured the legendary Milton Berle as host, and Red Buttons, Danny Kaye and Jack Lemmon as guests.
