Ben Silverman’s multimedia entertainment studio, Electus, announced the acquisition of Engine Entertainment and the creation of Electus/Engine Distribution, a new in-house global distribution arm.
Engine Entertainment CEO Chris Philip will become the president of Electus/Engine Distribution with offices in London, Miami, New York and Los Angeles. No terms of the deal were disclosed.
Electus and Engine Entertainment previously worked together to create and distribute programming including "Thumb Wars," an interactive smart phone treasure hunt game show.
