FX's hit biker-gang drama "Sons of Anarchy" will have exclusive digital video content thrown into its fourth-season offering, series creator/showrunner Kurt Sutter tweeted Wednesday.
"Additional content scenes are a go!," he tweeted "FX/FOX21 approved budget today. S4 content to fans as early as july! your love and adoration please ... The plan right now (is) to release the additional content scenes on SOA app first, then later, on the FX website, then my blog & youtube channel."
Is this an emerging trend? Maybe.
As part of his new deal with AMC, "Mad Men" mastermind Matthew Weiner has discussed the possibility of also creating exclusive digital scenes.
