TBS made a big commitment to "Are We There Yet?" with a massive 90 episode renewal Monday after only airing 10 episodes. Based on a movie starring onetime gangsta rapper Ice Cube, "Are We There Yet?" is television's No. 1 show among African-American audiences in the 18-49 and 18-34 demographics.

Since the sitcom debuted June 2, it has ranked among ad-supported cable's top 10 new series for the quarter with an average of 2.8 million viewers. The show is produced by Ice Cube's company Cube Vision and Revolution Studios. It stars Terry Crews and Essence Atkins.

"'Are We There Yet?' has proven itself to be an extremely strong addition to TBS' comedy lineup," said Michael Wright, executive vice president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. The show "attracts a young, diverse audience," Wright noted.

The massive order ensures that the series will reach the 100-episode mark, considered the magic minimum number to enter syndication.
