Raini Rodriguez and her brother Rico are both making waves in Hollywood. Rico currently stars as Manny on the ABC's hit sitcom "Modern Family" and Raini will be playing the role of Tess in Disney's upcoming feature film "Prom."
Twelve-year-old Rico may have gotten his big break first, but their mother says his older sister Raini, who is 17, is the one who inspired him to get involved with acting.
At the afterparty for ABC's presentation at the annual TCA summer press tour, Raini said her character in "Prom" is a high-school freshman who serves as "a motivator" for her dorky older brother (played by Nicholas Braun).
"She tries to get him a girlfriend to go to prom with," Raini said.
"Prom," which is scheduled for a 2011 release, isn't Raini's first movie. She played Kevin James' daughter in 2009's "Paul Blart: Mall Cop."
