The forward-thinking folks at CBS's "How I Met Your Mother" are once again using the Internet to give viewers a little extra comedy. Monday's episode featured a plot line in which Marshall (Jason Segel), excited over a seemingly successful couples' debate, puts together a musical photo montage and posts in on a website dubbed ItWasTheBestNightEver.com. Sure enough, surfing over to the website leads to a special "HIMYM" bonus: A video of Marshall and 1990s rock icon Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme ("More than Words") belting out a full-length version of Marshall's "It Was the Best Night Ever." Past episodes of "HIMYM" have featured similar cues for viewers to hop on the WWW for bonus content. The next such stunt could come in a few weeks, when "HIMYM" marks its 100th episode with a scheduled return visit by legendary Canadian songstress Robin Sparkles.
