Jon Hamm (in blackface), Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon also made guest appearances on "30 Rock's" second set of live episodes
Thursday night's live "30 Rock" episodes pitted East Coast against West Coast, with a cameo by Beatle legend Paul McCartney on the east, while the west got reality star Kim Kardashian.
Both were led into the office of Kabletown honcho Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) as they were looking to make a pit stop in Donaghy's private bathroom. Both McCartney and Kardashian broke the fourth wall and waved to the cheering audience, though McCartney also gave Donaghy a playful slap on the cheek.
Kardashian appeared a second time in the West Coast episode, after Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) joked about how 2.5 million viewers had just witnessed Jenna Maroney's boyfriend, Paul, propose. "Now 14 million people just saw that," a camera-wielding Kardashian said, referring to her Twitter followers. "You're welcome."
Meanwhile, "Mad Men" star, and former "30 Rock" guest star, Jon Hamm took on two roles in the live episode — including one in which he appeared in blackface — while Amy Poehler appeared as a young Lemon via flashback and Jimmy Fallon played a flashback version of Donaghy. Even the song "Zou Bisou Bisou" from "Mad Men" made a cameo.
