‘True Blood’ Releases 90-Second Season 6 Trailer: The Hunters Become the Hunted (Video)

May, 04, 2013 3:25 pm | Comments On #HBO, Television, True Blood

HBO has dished out a few behind the scenes peeks at its upcoming sixth season of “True Blood,” but this new 90-second trailer is the most revealing yet.

Now it seems, the tide has turned and there’s more to worry about than uber-vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) and the mysterious Warlow, who we discovered made a pact with the eldest Stackhouse ancestor to take the next female faerie of the family, which happens to be Sookie (Anna Paquin).

In addition to forces within each supernatural group, humans are rising up against them. “It’s time for humans to bite back,” one man says. And, they have Sookie's vampire crew on the run.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" director J.J. Abrams sat down with Simon Pegg, the actor who plays Scotty in the upcoming sequel, to talk about a very different sequel Abrams is directing: "Star Wars VII."

Spoiler alert: Abrams didn't divulge any secret plans for his continuation of George Lucas' brainchild, but the discussion that ensues between the two fans of both the "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" franchises (Abrams admits he's more of a "Star Wars" guy) is interesting, nonetheless.

Will there be peace on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey"? The new trailer would suggest that there can be… but that's just another fake out.

You've got to give the cast members credit for trying to bridge the various chasms that exist between the families. Once again, the ongoing feud between sister-in-laws Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga rages on and sucks all the other women into the center of the hurricane.

Stephen Colbert took to Comedy Central's airwaves on Thursday night to deliver a strong warning to his viewers: Summer movies like "Man of Steel" and "Iron Man 3" are destroying America.

Why?

"First of all, Superman is the quintessential American hero," Colbert said. "Yet they gave the part to some limey named Henry Cavill."

On top of Warner Bros. outsourcing the greatest American job ever to a British actor, Colbert claimed Zack Snyder's movie may be White House propaganda pushing President Barack Obama's agenda.
