"Star Trek Into Darkness" director J.J. Abrams sat down with Simon Pegg, the actor who plays Scotty in the upcoming sequel, to talk about a very different sequel Abrams is directing: "Star Wars VII."

Spoiler alert: Abrams didn't divulge any secret plans for his continuation of George Lucas' brainchild, but the discussion that ensues between the two fans of both the "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" franchises (Abrams admits he's more of a "Star Wars" guy) is interesting, nonetheless.

"Ender's Game" stars Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield have introduced the first footage of Summit's highly-anticipated science fiction movie hitting theaters on Nov. 1.

The quick tease of the trailer, which debuts online next week, features Colonel Hyrum Graff (Ford) telling main protagonist Ender Wiggin (Butterfield) "you'll be the finest commander we've ever trained."

Stephen Colbert took to Comedy Central's airwaves on Thursday night to deliver a strong warning to his viewers: Summer movies like "Man of Steel" and "Iron Man 3" are destroying America.

Why?

"First of all, Superman is the quintessential American hero," Colbert said. "Yet they gave the part to some limey named Henry Cavill."

On top of Warner Bros. outsourcing the greatest American job ever to a British actor, Colbert claimed Zack Snyder's movie may be White House propaganda pushing President Barack Obama's agenda.

Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda didn't appear to be impressed by global K-pop sensation Psy at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night.

When the "Gangnam Style" singer emerged to dance along to his latest hit, "Gentleman," 85-year-old Lasorda just sat there with a blank expression on his face as spectators snapped pictures of the international celebrity plastered on the jumbotron.
