Rebel Wilson, Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen Join 'Kung Fu Panda 3'

They join returning cast members such as Jack Black and Angelina Jolie in the latest installment in the furry warrior franchise.
The film is slated to open on December 23, 2015, and will be the first Panda film released in the holiday season instead of the heart of summer. The first two films in the franchise grossed $1.3 billion worldwide.

FilmDistrict has acquired domestic distribution rights to “Pompeii,” Paul W.S. Anderson’s retelling of the volcanic eruption that destroyed the titular Roman city.
The period film is in production, and FilmDistrict will release the film through TriStar Pictures on Feb.28, 2014, almost 2000 years after Mount Vesuvius covered Pompeii in lava, ash and volcanic rock. FilmDistrict and TriStar have previously partnered on films such as “Soul Surfer” and “Looper.”
“Pompeii,” a Constantin FIlms and Impact Pictures production, is both an action movie and a love story. The script, credited to five different screenwriters, follows a Celtic gladiator who falls in love on the eve of the eruption.

Gil Bellows, who recently wrapped the JFK drama "Parkland," also joins stars Topher Grace and Susan Sarandon in the film, which follows a Canadian detective (Sarandon) tracking down a serial killer with the help of a police officer (Grace).
Jason Stone is directing an adaptation of Inger Ash Wolfe’s novel by Scott Abramovitch, who is also producing along with Randy Manis, Lonny Dubrofsky of Breaking Ball Films and Nicholas Tabarrok of Darius Films. Jonathan Bronfman of JoBro Productions and Christine Vachon of Killer films are executive producing.

Gaghan’s tale weaves together several different storylines all set in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Clarke, who just starred in “Zero Dark Thirty,” will play a former secret agent who realizes a criminal syndicate he once battled has set up shop in his neighborhood.
