ABC is looking to capitalize on the surprise popularity of the Sandra Bullock smash "The Blind Side."
The network said Tuesday that it will air a special edition of "20/20" dubbed "The Blind Side: The Real Story Behind the Movie" next week. Deborah Roberts will anchor the hour, set to air Dec. 29 at 10 p.m.
Included in the special: A sit-down interview with the real Michael Oher, who has remained quiet about the film in recent weeks. "20/20" also will speak with Leigh Anne Tuohy and her family. And, of course Bullock and co-star Tim McGraw will speak as well.
Amazingly, this special isn't a case of in-house synergy. "Blind Side," after all, is produced by Warner Bros.
