FX has greenlit two more original drama series for 2010: "Terriers" and "Lights Out".

Shawn Ryan ("The Shield") is behind "Terriers," about two buddies who start a detective agency. The dramedy is from Fox 21 and stars Donal Logue. Ted Griffin ("Ocean's Eleven") created the show.

Holt McCallany stars in "Lights Out," a boxing drama about a former champ trying to bond with his family after he retures. Justin Zackham and Warren Leight are the exec producers; Fox TV Studios and FX Prods. are producing.

Industry insiders expect "Terriers" to launch first, likely next summer, with "Lights" bowing later in 2010.

FX has now greenlit six new series for next year. It produced six pilots this development season.

The news comes as second year drama "Sons of Anarchy" continues to rev up the ratings. A third season pickup is likely just a formality at this point.
