All the buzz surrounding MTV's WTF reality series "Jersey Shore" continues to boost the show's ratings.
Thurday's episode of the guido-tastic reality series drew 2.5 million viewers and averaged a series-high 2.4 rating in MTV's core demographic of viewers 12-34, according to Nielsen. That's up 20 percent in the demo from last week, and up a stunning 85 percent from "Shore's" so-so debut a few weeks ago.
"Shore" was also the No. 1 cable show at 10 p.m. Thursday among women 12-34. An 11 p.m. repeat adds in 1.3 million viewers and a 1.2 in adults 12-34.
Some New Jersey groups have protested "Shore's" spotlight on the natives of the area, claiming it fosters stereotypes.
